2012 is definitely Rachel Bilson’s year! She is the star of a new hit TV show, Hart of Dixie, and has launched her own shoe company. At 30 years old, Rachel Bilson is taking the world by storm and she is not slowing down anytime soon.
Rachel Bilson’s new show Hart of Dixie is the story about a New York girl, Dr. Zoe Hart played by Bilson, who has the dream of becoming a cardio-thoracic surgeon once graduating medical school. When Zoe’s dream does not work out the way she plans she accepts an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work alongside him at his practice in Bluebell, Alabama. Once Zoe gets to Bluebell she discovers that Dr. Wilkes has passed away and left half of his practice to Zoe and half of his practice to the other doctor in town. Now Zoe has to fight to keep her share of the practice while also adapting to living in the south. Zoe quickly realizes that Southern hospitality does not always guarantee that everyone will be hospitable. I do not want to give too much away in case you decide to watch it but I will say that I watch the show religiously and suggest that you all do the same. It is a great show filled with interesting characters and plot twists that keep you longing for the next episode. Catch the hit show on the CW on Mondays at 9/8c.
